Meet The Doctor

Daniel J. Duffy, DMD

Dr. Dan Duffy is a native of Point Pleasant, NJ. After completing undergraduate studies in Business Finance at East Carolina University (Greenville, NC), he entered the ECU School of Dental Medicine, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2016.

Drawn to the dental profession by a desire to help people enjoy the benefits of a healthy, confident smile, Dr. Duffy is trained in all aspects of general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is also certified in Invisalign, a clear tooth realignment process.

His memberships in professional organizations include the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the NC Dental Society. He is the current President of the Cape Fear Dental Study Club, a local dental society which brings local dentists together on a monthly basis for educational purposes. Dr. Duffy also serves on the NC Dental Society 5 th District Board of Trustees, serving a leadership role in dentistry in Eastern North Carolina.

As a returning resident of Wilmington, Dr. Duffy, his wife Melissa, son Fisher and twin daughters Charlotte and Dawsyn are active in many outdoor activities in the region. He is a longtime member of the Wrightsville Beach Longboard Association and Cape Fear Chapter’s Surfrider Foundation. He generously volunteers his dental services through NC Missions Of Mercy and the St. Mary’s Clinic. He is also a board member of the Cape Fear Clinic, a non-profit health clinic which serves uninsured individuals.
